Transgender Sex Outreach
In 2025, Nate Willett voted for a one-year $631,890 contract amendment to provide funding for activities of the High Impact HIV Prevention and Surveillance Program. The funds would conduct outreach testing and education to high risk populations including African American Females, African American Men who Have Sex with Men, LatinX, and White Men who Have Sex with Men and Transgender women.
Kansas City Pride Parade
Woke Willett voted to give $124,150 of your tax dollars to the Kansas City Pride Parade which supports people who "associate" as LGBTQ+ in Kansas City.
Anti-MAGA Fringe Festival
Nate Willett voted to give $63,400 in funding for a "festival" that featured the play "The Enemies From Within" which depicts a dystopian future where speaking against the MAGA administration leads to prison, torture, and/or execution. The fictitious prison is, of course, run by a "far right-wing Christian Nationalist couple."
Missouri Gay Rodeo
Woke Nate Willett voted to give $29,930 in taxpayer funds to the Missouri Gay Rodeo Association in 2024 and 2025. The MGRA exists to promote "gay country-western related events."
Voted to Declare October LGBTQ+ History Month
On Oct. 26, 2023, Nate Willett voted for Resolution No. 230943, a resolution declaring October LGBTQ+ History Month (Adopted 13-0).
Voted for Mayor Quinton Lucas' Agenda 93% of the Time
Since 2023, Nate Willett has voted for Mayor Q's sponsored legislation 93% of the time. It's no wonder he pushes this liberal agenda - one of his largest campaign donors is a transgender activist.
Did Not Endorse President Trump
Nate Willett has tweeted thousands of times and NEVER publicly endorsed President Trump, his policies, or the America First agenda. Since launching his campaign, Willett has noticeably attempted to re-brand himself MAGA, but continues to keep "Never Trumpers" within his inner circle. Recently, Willett's top advisor publicly attacked President Trump's economic policy as a "complete bust."
Opposed President Trump, Supported Transgenderism
When President Trump banned transgender people from the military, Nate Willett lashed out at Trump. Willett supported transgenderism in the military, tweeting, "Brave Americans are Brave Americans. Patriots of all backgrounds should have the opportunity to selflessly serve our country!"
Nate Willett Supported DEI Outreach
On March 6, 2017, The Maneater reported, "Both slates have also stated they will pursue diversity and awareness in MSA. The main way they plan to address the issue is through the executive cabinet position of chief diversity and inclusivity officer, which does currently exist but is unpaid. They have both also stated that they will encourage peer education programs, such as facilitations from Diversity Peer Educators, Safe Space training and Green Dot training."
While running for MSA president, Nate Willett said his administration "will be centered on celebrating diversity and inclusivity" and said each auxiliary and MSA leader will be required to undergo diversity training
According to Nathan Willet's campaign website, "Each of us has our own background and story. We are all made one-of-a-kind. Our MSA administration will be centered on celebrating diversity and inclusivity. We will appoint a specific position to cabinet dedicated to diversity and inclusion who will create MSA events and liaise with organizations such as, Triangle Coalition, LBC, and the Women's Center. Additionally, each auxiliary and MSA leader will be required to undergo diversity training (Green Dot, Safe Space, and Diversity Peer Education Training.)

While running for MSA president, Nate Willett supported student access to Planned Parenthood, including abortion services, and expressed support for students who would be affected by President Donald Trump's immigration restrictions and bathroom accessibility for transgender students
